As the title says, your best ever bargain?

Mine is probably a pair of Callaway shoes, their top of the range model (think FJ Classics) from an outlet store in Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago. The RRP was $400, they were being sold off for $40. Ultra comfy and they should last 10 years.

Please, only bargains that you have bought, not freebies!

Funnily enough, I bought a Ray Cook M1 milled aluminium putter on eBay last week. Just £6!

I bought a big white PING tour bag about 8 years ago. Paid £50 for it and still use it today.

Proper leather and fully waterproof. Big enough to get everything and even used it instead of a proper golf travel bag when I went to Spain.

Can't see me getting rid of it any time soon :)

Country membership at a links course not far from where I worked, but hundreds of miles from where I lived.

Played about 5 times a week on average!

I think this one is winning so far

Excuse my ignorance on the exact models mentioned in this post, I'm not "with it" in that respect…

Mine's a double example. Father in law was having a browse in a charity shop and saw an odyssey putter. He asked how much it was and after Sandra had checked with Barbara (names changed to protect the innocent) "£2?" came the reply in a voice that was really saying "i've no idea how much it's worth so i'll start at £2 but will take a quid". He's checked it out at his club and they're around £100 brand new apparently. He didn't even let them keep the change from a fiver!

The second part is that he then brought his Nike Unitized putter round to ours to flog at the car boot sale, so I had it in exchange for me paying for our next round. Don't care how much it's worth because I took to it instantly and have gone from 3 putting the majority of holes to 2 putting the majority! Shame the rest of my game lets me down.

Best bargains, my Adams Tom Watson Grind wedges picked up the pair brand new for £60. WIsh I still had them as much prefer them to the Vokeys.

Picked up a bargain this week at a car boot that was next to where we were working on repair a mains leak! (yes I finished the job first) - Hogans 5 Lessons - got this in immaculate condition 75p! As the woman said she just wanted shot of all the books.

Snap.
My brand new Odyssey two spot putter was an extortionate £4 from Maidens school fete. They though I was being very generous when I gave them a fiver and told them to keep the change.

Also got a new, in box pair, of lightweight golf shoes for £2 at a car boot.
I did not recognise the maker but thought they were a quality American make.
I was very surprised to find out that Crane was the sports branding name for Lidl [or Aldi]

Pair of Footjoy classis. Was £199 reduced to £99 as they wanted shot. my mate had a voucher that was about to expire for £80 and was away working so used it on his behalf and bagged myself a pair of footjoy classics for the tidy sum of £19.

Brand new Latest Callaway X Hot Irons (£540 for 4-PW in American Golf) I paid £300 for 3-SW! Friend of a friend has a contact in Callaway... he's now my new best friend!!!
