I see the Yorkshire born Yorkshire bred,
strong in the arm thick in the head.
are up in arms coz there saying it's not a pudding to be eaten with jam. As per mentioned by New York Times.
I can see it from the yorkie point of view that gravy is king. But there might well be a clue in the word "pudding". Seeing as it's a similar mix to pancake mix where you can have jam with it. If I was a Yorkie I would not be getting me knickers in a twist.
Thoughts me duck.

And steak and kidney pudding should be had with custard?

I do know of one Yorkshire man who has his pudding the old traditional way, first. But then puts sugar on it.

Have it however you want it.

apparantly Nigella, hmmmmmmmm, sorry what was the question again coz you would.

oh ah she said the Yorkshire pud is of German origin. And they have fruit with there Berlin Puds.

can remember when we were poor kids, when it came to suet dumplings, you had to choose whether you had um with your stew or waited to have it as a Pudding
on the same plate with mums blackberry jam as a pudding.

Americans put bacon with pancakes 😱. They put syrup on bacon 😱😱. They know nothing about food.

And it's bloomin' marvellous. Think the reason they do it is their bacon is horrible stuff and so it masks the taste 😀.

My old granny, God rest her soul, was from Canada and she use wax lyrical over the stuff when she came over.

A twist, i saw my local baguette shop advertising roast beef yorkshire pudding wraps! Sound awesome!! Roast beef, horseradish sauce, gravy in a flat yorkie and wrapped up! I am so getting one next time i'm in town!

Missis T had a Yorkshire pudding wrap Sunday dinner a couple of months ago.
It was Rammel. Rammed with stodgy processed Rammel.
