Yanny or Laurel

Its the frequency that makes it sound different, if you change TV audio settings you will hear two different things, actually quite cool, no need for a sound bar my TV is a bad boy 😁
 
I finally listened to this - and it appears to be something to do with frequency. When the volume was low I could here Yanny (the treble frequencies sound like that, and they are the only ones that travel at low volume). When I turned the volume up higher, I was then hearing Laurel, because the bass frequencies kicked in.

Apparently the guy who actually recorded it (many years ago as it turns out) came out and said it was "Laurel" he was saying. So when the volume is low, the bass frequencies can't be heard and that makes it sound like "Yanny".

Smart money was always on 'laurel' anyway - that's actually a word/name where as yanny is nothing.
