Played a tie this morning - I had 22 points for the first 8 holes and was leading by 7pts after 9... I lost by 2 only scoring 11 points on final 10 holes. Don't think I've ever done that before! Had 6 birdies so trying to look at the positives

Certainly can say a round of 2 halves you must be gutted, goes to show should never give up.

Played off 3/4 handicap in the comp today with Hawkeye (4 ball better ball) and managed 17 points going out off that lower mark (outof a team score of 19).I then parred the next 4 on the back nine so was going great guns. We were in with a shout of a good finish but I blew up big time on the last five and my partner had lost the will to live long before then and we limped home misrably. I'd take the positives if I was you and don't dwell on what might have beens. Look at where you made mistakes and learn for next time
