After playing like a complete fud at Machrahanish I played with Boabski at colvilles Park and hooked up with an old friend and went for a wander.

Out in 42 (+7) with 2 doubles and back in 37 (+1) and I am nowhere near understanding what I did difrerent today. I even had the ULTIMATE round saver where I chipped through a gap in a tree and holed it from 60 yards for par.

you had to be there to believe this shot,
as it was said 60 yards through the back of the green in the rough,right behind this silver birch which was shaped like a fork.the only shot was up through the tree.
As the sun reflected off the tree and Andy adjusted his white cotton Penguin T-shirt , with a steady swing he poppped the ball up through the forks, pitched on the green and with a steady pace the ball dropped.
Amazing.
still dont know if it beats his 320+ to the green drive on the PGA Belfry

Reg, that could be the answer ..... I was still wandering oof the tee but not loosing balls in jungle. I also hit the ball better. Perhaps links golf doesn't suit my dig deep golf.

I was the same today Andy. I started with a 9 and 7 on the opening two holes (both par 5s) then played brilliant and finished with a 84 for a net 65 only missed 1 fairway all day thanks to the tip from young Andrew .

Young Andrew is a pretty decent teaching pro for one so young, keeps it simple.
