Just coming up for me now, and I want tom do something interesting and related to sport. Also could be management , but I'm open to ideas.
Any suggestions?

I'm not sure how old you are, no idea if you're at school, college, Uni?

Key thing is to get in early... all the decent places fill up quick, and employers are far more likely to say yes early on to someone with the nous to get in touch nice and early.

Show a bit of initiative by contacting them yourself, rather than waiting for whoever runs the scheme do it. Under no circumstances let your parents do it (if you're a young'un?)... it makes you look like a wet lettuce who'll need their hand olding the whole time. :o

If you like your golf, definitely try a letter to all the local pro shops. You won't get management experience, but you'll learn a few good skills like re-gripping, sales, merchandising... always looks good on the CV.

I'm not sure how you'd experience management if you're on work experience? :D

If you can supply a bit more info, we could probably be more helpful :)
