Wooohooo, won todays medal

76 blows, net 69, 3 under par. Was pretty sure Id wasted a good chance bogeying 16 and 18 and having holed nothing more than about a 5 footer all day it seems plenty struggled in the wind and on the greens a bit and my score was good enough to get the job done Have won other comps and midweek medals but pretty sure this is the first "proper" medal Ive won at this club in 4 years of trying

CSS stayed at 72 it seems so a 0.6 cut means I stay at 7 but closer to 6 than 8 on 6.6 now

Well done Pal... soak it up.... What iv seen is that the lower you go the harder and harder it becomes to win anything..... Our club have put in lowest gross prizes to all the medals this year as well....

Yeah theres lowest gross in ours too, but considering the lad I played with got it under par at the 3rd and only fell back to levels gross by bogeying the last 2 (and prob should have shot in the 60s) that was never a concern The low hcaps win their fair share or more at our place, easier for me at this time of year before it firms right up but will take any win
