Watching him just now and the guy looks lost out there,he really is swinging ''''ing awful, each shot looks like he is trying to save it with the hands.

I really think he needs to ditch this dweeb Foley and get back to the man who had him playing his best or he could fade away to become just another player.

Heck,if he keeps chopping it like he has been he may end up taking David Howells spot in the studio! ;)

That tee shot at the par 3 was messy. I'd be disappointed if I swung like that, never mind the result!

Then you've got the daft crowd whoopin and hollering because he puts it to a couple of feet with his 4th shot.... at a par three.

How many of you have gone out in the opening few holes of a comp and chopped it and still hit a buffer zone. OK it isn't vintage Tiger and it may not look great but he usually finds a way to get in around better than many. I think there is a lot of work going on in his game and it must be hard to bring it to top level competition and trust/get it to work perfectly. Foley, or any other coach will make changes as they see it. It took Faldo a good few seasons to get his changes 100% right and he went on to dominate and I don't think Woods is a spent force yet

Difference is, Faldo was about 27/28 when he decided to change his swing. Tiger is in his mid thirties.
Time is not on Woods side.

Possibly a daft question but if you are as dominant as TW was ca. 2005/06 why change your swing?
Seems like there must be a time when you say ok this is good enough.
Harrington changed and has lost what he had.
Nick Faldo was a good but not great player when he made his changes with Led so they were justified.
I think Woods may win a major or two but 18 is looking doubtful these days!

I can't see how mid 30's is too old to make the changes necessary to be a dominat force again. Most golfers are coming into their prime in the 40's now. Jimenez has won three times a season three times since reaching 40 and so I think if he can find that spark he'll be back. Never as dominant but still a conteder everytime he pegs it up.
