I picked up my 910F 3 wood last night with the Kail`li stiff shaft. Worth a post maybe as we have not seen to many with the woods or hybrids but LOTS with the driver.

My eye for kit has very much changed in the last year, what with my better stroke and being a forum member and being a little more informed. I have moved away from the neon brands and this 3 wood looks all business. Its very plain but very compact and neat when put next to my old Burner.

The long and the short of it is the thing is stunning and I cant wait to give it a slap.

Question: I know how to close the face with surefit and change the loft,I know that A 1 is 1/2* open but how to you open the face more than "1"? as it seems to me that 2 and so on are closing.

Thanks alot, I will do a review in the correct section when I have a feel for the club.

Is the Kai'li shaft the the standard one?

I tried out the 3 wood last weekend with the "mid flight" shaft and it was an absolute joy to hit.

I'm thinking I will be getting fit for one in the next few weeks and asking for one for my birthday (maybe the hybrid too).

Kail`li is Mid, its blue with some flowers round the top of the shaft. I have not hit the "made for" one but the real one is a wonderful shaft.

Also as another question, whats the deal with the screew weight on the bottom?

I have no idea about the weight on the sole. Perhaps you can get heavier/lighter ones to suit.

I think the shaft I tired was the Titliest "Made for" one...Can't really remember. Lovely club though.

am trying so hard not to buy one myself.

i love my 910d2 and i love my current 3wood, but the 910f is keeps calling to me, along with the 910h....ARRRGGGHHH

Yep, 910H has started calling me.... "ALEX..ALEX Come try me out!!" "Find the money!!" "your wife will never know"

Al

what weight is the Kai'li shaft in it?

75 mate, as in my bio, but I actualy have a feeling its only 72 grams, ill check.

Steve, you got any PDFs with how to set this bad boy up aka my above questions. I am having a hard job finding a guide and its not that I will need to but I would like to know how anyways.

Edit: 74 grams

The screw weight is adjustable by the Factory to change swingweight and CG. The 910F-d has the weight nearer the face. It lowers the CG for a higher flight the further away from the face it is.

So it wants leaving alone? not something for me to play with? I saw they sell a weight kit, I guess that not really something I am going to need?

Nah - wouldn't mess with it.
It's just another fitting tool they have to make the club just right. Can't see it making that much difference to the likes of us.
Tried the F-d and the Hybrid the other day - probably going to succumb and get them. The A'hina shaft worked best for me - Kai'li was too whippy even in stiff flex.

Ye I would guess I am a little more on the softer side of stiff than you. It was the Mid/Low flight that really draws me to the shaft.

How come you are after the F-d? You want it more for tee shots than fairway use? Also whats the hybrid like? I have seen one review by someone I trust and he said it was an odd shape but apart from that its "like cheating"

I was hiting the F-d high enough as it was! PLus I'm going to tweak it to about 16.5* so I don't want anything launching into Space!
The hybrid is sooo long. Sooo easy. I was drawing/hooking a lot a due to the shaft but set the club to fully open and it straightened out reasonably. With the A'hina in it's going to go even better. And you can tweak the lofts without messing with the face angle. So the 19* can be 18.25 up to 20.5! 2 clubs in one.... ALmost...
