Everyone, I'm playing at Woburn on the Friday (excited? Dear lord yes) and staying over the night before so that I don't have to set the alarm for 5. So, I find myself with a both a day off work and a hotel room in MK booked. Does anyone else attending the meet or anyone local fancy a game in the general Woburn Area on Thursday afternoon? I mentioned this on the main thread a few weeks ago but thought it was worth separating so that I don't divert Full_throttle's thread.

G1bbo and Fundy, you both mentioned that you might be free, how is that looking now that we're closer to the date?

Assuming my shoulder is still in 1 piece after playing 36 on Wednesday then Im up for a game for sure. More than welcome to come and play at AVGC (15 mins south of MK), or will join you elsewhere (within reason lol). If you fancy AVGC anyone else is also welcome of course :)

What time are you thinking on Thursday. I can leave work around lunchtime on Thursday. AVGC looks good to me.

Im easy LQ, time to suit you guys who are travelling. No trouble getting out Thurs pm, Id guess youd want to be out by 3pm at the latest to ensure we get round.

Only small downside is the greens were treated last week. Theyre not too bad as theyve started to settle but they are a little sandier than is ideal

Fundy, first of all, yes please - a round at AVGC sounds perfect.

For the time, I was thinking along similar lines to you. As I'm writing this it's 7.15pm and too dark to play, so 3pm sounds about right as the latest start in case we get held up. LQ, could you make it for that time?

That's the spirit G1bbo!

Fundy, thanks for hosting us and sorting the tee time. Have a great time at Woburn tomorrow, see you on Thursday.
