Hi Guys,

I have searched through the old threads but can't find what I am after.

We are planning a golf break in April and Woburn looks the likely destination.

The Duke is a must play for us, but I am interested in people's opinion on which second course to play (Duchess or Marquess).

Thanks
Dan

Any of them, but the Marquess is viewed as the championship course.

They are all nice though.

The Duchess is very tight, so if you spray the ball about a bit, you would be better off on the Marquess.

Played a pairs comp there, the members took us onto the Duchess as very tight and you need a few rounds to know how to play it, very enjoyable all the same.

I haven't played the Duchess but did play both the Dukes and Marquess a few months ago.

Our group (16 of us) all loved the Marquess course and are intending to go back and play it again this year.

My preference would be to play the Dukes and the Marquess.

Thanks for the replies guys, I have started the ball rolling for the Dukes and Marquess for the Sunday/Monday deal at £230 each which includes hotel, breakfast, two rounds, £35 towards dinner. Happy days. :)
