So that was the last Kermode and Mayo movie show on the BBC. Always been a podcast listener rather than the live show, but I'm sad to see them go. It's been one of my two go-to podcasts for the last quite a few years. I assume I count as a long term listener as, although I can't remember their radio 1 days together, I have been listening since before we said hello to Jason Issacs.

Just noticed they've tweeted about kermodeandmayo.com. It says new podcast coming in early May. Hurrah :D

Tinkity tonk and down with the Nazis. And smelly pants wee.

I don't always listen but if I'm in the car then I will. Kermode is very much a film critic, loves subtitled arthouse, dislikes popular films, so I don't particularly follow his take on film. I did always enjoy one of his reviews where he hates the film though ?

The show has been very good though on the whole, they work well together and it is generally entertaining. You can tell they are good together, their stand ins when they are away are always painful in comparison.

They've finished?
Gutted, they've been my long time drive home listening on a Friday afternoon for years. Only since they got put back an hour or two by Elliot and James have I sort of missed out on their show.
