Anyone played in this previously

Registration for 2013 and i am defo interested especially with the open being held 10 months later at Hoylake.

I have played hoylake before though so i am also considering just doing Open Comps instead at Caldy and Wallasey.

Few played in this and also mini meets sorted for Wallasey open do a search on previous threads.
Also a meet a formby and hoylake in march (see thread at bottom of page)

Stupid question as i am new to this.

Is it a case that not everyone knows each other at these meets? Dont wont to be the only new kid!!!!!!!!!!

up to last year I think we were mostly strangers to each other, but we have had quite a few North west meets in the last 6 months

The more you do the more you will meet, everyone has to be the new kid at some point.

Much like turning up at a club comp for a tee time with people you don't know 5 mins later you'd all chatting away all part of the game.

Just did a search and defo fancy the Formby trip. Will check club comps and go from there.

Have joined my first club in last 6 months so options are now endless!!!!
