Winter Mitts?

Can you not just put your hands in your pockets? Ive been back playing and have 5 winters behind me and never even thought of buying those things. Unless you use a trolley in which case, you should have a cardigan with mitts tied together with string along the arms. :D

well thank you both for the helpfull posts, its for the FUTURE as in the next month or so when it gets freezing and there's no mitts to be had as they're all sold out.
NEVER had a pair but you've obviously not bladed one in the frost with blue hands before :P

P.S Try telling the weather it's only the beginning of September :(

Gorgeous here today, sweat lashing off me on the course. Perhaps I'm fortunate but I have never had problems with cold hands on the golf course. If they are cold I will put them in my pockets.

..probably because you've got yer Mitts on :p

I'm not afraid to admit I have some mitts but hop I won't need them for a couple of months. I've got some Callaway ones I picked up from JJB for £12 and they're great.

I have a set of the titleist ones and they are pretty good. Fleecey lined and have a magnetic catch on the cuff so easy to put on and off.

Feeling the onslaught of a serious bout of man flu I had the mitts in my bag tonight, just in case! I was stiff and sore and shivery and not feeling great at all.

I had a base layer on as well for the first time since March as well as a shirt and windproof gilet.

Winter is a coming ladies and gentlemen of the forum.

Another vote for the titleist. Dont wear a watch, but the magnetic cuffs and fleece lining coupled with a water resistant outer is a winner. If it's extra Baltic chuck a hand warmer in them = toast

snap, ive got these do the job fine (with re-useable heater thing) stuff brendy and get them. i also have 3 hybrids and use castle tees and have black gloves :D :D but what do i know :D i also have warm hands

My first winter as a golfer approaches, so i need to buy some kit and wet gear is the top of my list! so any decent recomendations would be great! Sorry to hijack the thread but saves making a new one! :D

I've got the Callaway mitts. One of the kids got me them for Christmas a couple of years ago.

Never worn 'em. Fortunately have warm hands most of the time. If they get cold....... stick em in my pockets.
Winter golf? Just wear a polo, sweater and Sunderland waterproofs if it rains. I get too warm otherwise, can't see me going for the underarmour type stuff, I'd be lathered!!!
