Do any of you have them at your Club? If so what's the...
ADVANTAGES..... DISADVANTAGES..... SNAGS.... PROBLEMS....

Or does your Club do something else??

Thanks

Don't have them. We have qualifiers all year (conditions allowing) and the club handicap stays in place all year

We do mate, Start of winter we go on to mats and teeing up on fairways, all comps are non-qualifiers, we then have 2 comps a week, 1 Ind and 1 4BBB every weekend alternating Sat and Sun, winner(s) of either comp is/are cut by 15% runner up(s) by 10%. Max handicap for all comps is 18.
1st April everyones handicap reset to pre-winter levels.
Seems to work very well no issues and leads to some people getting decent cuts in winter and checking our results have only noticed 2 people get 2 cuts.
Stays competitive through winter.

Thanks Paul, Homer...... yes the 18 max sounds a reasonable idea but not with all, I guess

Same as

No, qualifiers all year round, though the weather causes quite a few to become non qualiftying over the winter.
