Winter balls?

Used to use DT solo, what's the equivalent now?

Define your terms of equivalence!

Price point to wise it's the True soft but they play a little differently - very similar to the Callaway Supersofts.

Then again the recent DT Solo was very very different to the previous version (blue pink writing). Personally I found it a good ball to play; far better than the Velocity.

However the differences are all pretty subtle and more a matter of subjective assessment than significant technical performance.

Srixon AD333 Tour are a very good winter ball and for those with a slower swing speed the Srixon Softfeel will help regain the lost yards the colder weather creates.

I think the Tour are a good summer ball and are wasted in the winter on soft greens, the AD333 std is more a kin for winter imo.

I'm worried about this new and improved Fish. Too many posts I'm agreeing with and this is another. The standard AD333 are excellent for this time of year but the AD333 tour is a great summer ball

The Z Star is my choice of summer ball, the AD333 tour is fine for me in the winter. The AD333 is a little clunky IMO for winter use so the Soft Feel would be my choice for a lower grade winter ball.

During the summer I much prefer to use a softer ball - Premium Nike were good last year, Titleist Pro V1s (obvs) and I used to love the Srixon Z stars!
In the winter I don't really care what ball I use - tend to go with slightly harder, DT solo's, AD333 or whatever I have left over in the bag!
I'll be hitting the January sales for golf balls shortly!

Use 'AD333' at the moment, gonna try '333 Tour' next season, but generally stick to the same ball all year round unless I'm having a nightmare round in which case I'll pick the dregs from the bottom of my bag, don't matter if I lose em then...

I just use The regular AD333s most of the time but had a dabble with Callaway supersofts last winter, I thought they were superb at time, soft long and great feel, tried them in the summer and they were awful for me, like urethane coated mushy peas. Good winter ball though if looking for a cheap change.
