Basically as the title says are they any good?

Just got back from a trip to visit the family abroad as HID's getting closer to that can't fly pregnant stage and arrived home to notification that my phone is ue for upgrade.

I've had blackberry's got bored very quickly of that, have had iPhone for a fair while and to be fair its never let me down but am getting a bit bored of that to and can't see the point in upgrading an iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5.

I've looked at Androids like the Samsung Galaxy and don't fancy upgrading to double the amount of my contract just for the Galaxy IV. So been looking at other options and I really like the look and feel of the Nokia Lumia 920 Windows phone they look smart and from what i've seen & used so far they are smooth and have everything I could want to play with on them plus the monthly fees are less than iPhone 5 & the Androids of similar spec and nothing to pay for the handsets.

So over you all of you wise folk are they any good..

I agree with Aztecs27, S3 is a good device, I support a lot of android and IOS devices, I wouldnt have a windows phone near me.

Yup.

My old Android Phone (HTC Sensation) died a while back and I have been phoneless. Currently using an iPhone (3GS) for the first time, and even though I have an iPad and iPod Touch, I'm still impressed with the simplicity and familiarity of it. Will probably end up with an iPhone when I can upgrade in October...Or a Samsung Galaxy.

I own the Nokia Lumia 920 and I really really like it as a phone. It feels like a quality piece of tech, although I have had a couple of issues with it that are contrary to how it feels. I am on to my 2nd phone as the 1st crashed and wouldn't turn back on. Apparently it seems this is a common fault with the Black 920. Still, 2nd one seems OK so far. The lack of apps in the MS Store bothered me more than I thought it would, and the functionality of those I own seems a little "clunky" at times and contain adverts. Also there are silly things that bother me like no official BBC app and you can't play iplayer etc. If I could swap the Apple iOS into the Lumia phone I'd do it in an instant. On the plus side I like how it links with my Hotmail contacts, the camera is awesome, it has conductive charging, which is quite funky and a maps/drive/office suite etc are all great.

Using a nokia lumia 720 just now, not had any problems. does all i want from a phone, maps and sat nav are very good, plenty of apps excellent camera. All round impressive kit
