No, didn't even know one was being releaased.

I was in my local golf shop looking to try some 3woods out. The junior assistant mentioned the spine woods but wasnt sure when they came out. The guy who would know wasnt in until tomorrow. The junior did show me a picture of them in a brochure

There is no mention of them on the WS website.

Just to let you know I had the chance to hit this a couple of weeks ago at a Wilson event in Ireland. Don't think they've decided on a launch date yet, but suspect it won't be until early next year which is when the Smooth driver is due to launch.

As for the club, in this smaller size the squarish head looks much less unusual than its big brother driver's did. It also sounds better too, although I wasn't unduly perturbed by the driver sound personally.

It sat neatly behind the ball, and gave me plenty of confidence off the deck - which is rare for me with a 3-wood!

The GM team will of course be testing it fully as soon as a sample arrives from Wilson.

I wish! I played yesterday, I have improved off he tee but sill struggling with my slice.
