hi all, in the market for a 5wood to replace my 3wood for use off the deck.
i have a 4hybrid so am thinking this one should fill the gap nicely.

if you do have one can you let me know what its like - especially interested to hear if relatively easy to strike off the deck and low ish spin.

I have been a bit on and off with my one. Have recently tried the new MD Superstrong fairways and hybrids as I loved the driver and they are worth a shot.

Got a 906f2. One of the hardest to hit fairway woods ever. I love it. Shaft like a poker too.

909 is meant to be easier to hit, but not tried one yet.

Try going for one that is easier, if you struggled with the 3w. Don't go for a big head though, gets to be self defeating. Ping G10 is meant to be good.

I've got the 909 and its a breeze. No problem at all. The G10 5 wood is good too. But if you want the Fybrid - some fella called Harrington used one once. And at that money you won't go far wrong.

I have a fybrid 3 and 5 fairway wood. They are excellent. My three is almost as long as my driver off the tee, but with less dispersion, so I often favour it on a tight fairway.

The 5 wood fybrid is so easy to hit off the deck its unbelievable. I also use it in semi-rough as I don't have a conventional rescue wood.

I highly recomend it. Watch the final day of the 2008 open... Padraig Harrington highly recomends it too!
