Wilson FG tour

Found one of these afew weeks ago and tried it today.

I have to say it wasn't bad, felt soft of wedge and putter. not sure about spin as the greens are very soft anyway.

Don't know anything about these, i usually wouldn't bother with a wilson ball and usually chuck them in the practice ground.


Anyone use these and what do they think?

Not sure i would buy them, but would def use one again if i found one

I've never used an FG Tour but I can't fault the Dx2 or Dx3 so by my reckoning, the FG Tour must be a good ball.

They're nice and cheap as well.

FG Tour are superb, best feel off the putter of any ball that I have tried. I use DX3 or DX2 at this time of year but have a couple of boxes of FG Tour ready for the summer. Can normally be found at under £20 a dozen for premium ball quality

Ok put another way, try the other 2 balls in the Wilson range as well, fit the price their great balls, only downside on the dx2 & dx3 is they scuff a bit easier

I've had some dx2 and 3 a got free from a Visit Scotland do at Murrayshall. Used one just felt weired. hit them onto the practice ground at tain and left them there.

Best balls I've played with for ages. Better in the summer months, so at the moment playing with Callaway HXBite (2 dozen for £30!), but come summer, will be changing back to the FG tour for definite.

I use either the FG Tour or Srixon Z-Star and find them to be a very similar ball, but the FG Tour does tend to scuff a little more. Great ball though.
