At the moment Im using a wilson Pd6 which I realy dont seem to be getting on with. Can anyone recommend another wilson driver that might be worth a try as I want to stick with Wilson. Thanks. :D

It seems to me that the Spine is a lot more friendly than the Pd6. The current model is the Smooth, and it looks good from what I've seen. Go and try one out.

I had a close look at at Pd6 today and it's quite low profile i.m.o. maybe this means you shouldn't tee it up too high if you aren't getting a consistent height on the face.

I don't think (?) it was ever designed to be a super-easy club to hit. However, having seen it in action a lot recently, it certainly goes some!!!

Well, in the right hands yes! And actually I think you'll find you have seen a DD6+, if it mine your talking about! But actually so long as you have a decent-ish swing it will be consistent with shot shape and distance.

I got my DD6+ as it was cheap, but actually it has turned out to be a great buy!

So… if you are struggling with the Pd6 try the DD6+, when I first got mine I was off a 24 handicap and hit it roughly 230 off the tee, now i'm down to 15 hitting 270 pretty consistently.

Plus I'm sure you can pick one up now in very good nick for £60!

Hope this helps!

If yours is the Dd6+ is it more modern than the Pd6?
I guess so.

I'm confused with the older Wilson stuff......I wasn't playing then! :)

Either way, you've proved the Dd6+ gets the job done.
