I thought the whole point of the Tribly thing was to give a chance to a Pro who hadn't yet 'made' the opportunity for a leg up in the Pro ranks - can't see why they let/got Storm/Howell et al in really....

I think Howeller has a bit of a reputation for supporting these sort of days. I think he ses them very much as an R&R day with a bit of networking and charity work thrown in and judging by the reports from his Bearwood Lakes appearanve is a decent guy. I thought Storm on the other hand saw it as a bit of "look at me" gig and really didn't take it in the way it was meant.

I'm sorely tempted as the clobber looks good and I want to see HTL try and club me with my erratic game looking like Bob the Builders second cousin!

I'd have kicked him off the course for not wearing a trilby. Also the publicity would have been far greater than simply letting him play, handled the right way it would be golf-mag front page news... pics of him being escorted off the first tee, supervised in the locker room incase he vandalised anything, then escorted to the carpark and the gates locked behind him
