This is very true Alex - the Scotty wouldnt have made than bacon sandwich for you

I am kinda a stunning guy, woman flock, I think its something to do with my animal magnetism so not overly worried about that side of things...

Ok this post is out of hand now, someone moderate me!!

Just sell a few bits on mate and counter the price so it doesn't look so bad or be a real man and go tell her your getting one!! Then after she has finished beating the living day lights outta you, beg! :)

This thread has made me chuckle. Mrs Alex doesn't read your copies of GM by any chance... ;) (moderation may come to late to save you now!)

On a serious note as beautiful as that ButtonBack was I couldn't justify £600 on a putter, well not on my current salary!

Honesty is the best policy here IMHO.

Just have a quiet word with the wife and explain the situation to her.

If she asks where the money is coming from, again be honest.

Tell your you have put one of your Kidneys on eBay and the bids are flooding in.

Wives are all around us, you will really have to work hard for that Scotty, I say go for it. That post set me off too, my Scotty is in having a stitched leather grip fitted as we speak, ridiculously cheap, less than the wifes manicure!!!

never never never lie to a good wife, tell her the truth

Putters are the most used club in the bag and they do just wear out like a pair of well worn pair of shoes!
