I'm perfectly happy with my £20 Gokart one. It handled some tough weather mid week so I can't complain. Last brolly I had was £18 and lost by HID when I lent it to her one stormy day. She didn't even catch on when she was getting wet on the way home but stayed dry on the way into town!

Even if it did stand 74mph winds, and even if you were playing golf in those conditions. If it happened to rain, surely the rain would be coming down sideways and therefore underneath the umbrella?

...or you could get the old model for £40 on amazon.

...or you could buy "Gardman" sports umbrella with the multi section design that allows the wind to pass through but not the rain, for a tenner.....

It's a brolly? It keeps you dry.
