In true forum fashion forumers rush to help, usually with good advice.


But, Why,oh why, oh why do you then get the (OK very few) self important idiots coming on saying something like "you might be/they might not be/perhaps you should do......, but I could be wrong, so I probably can't help you" type of comment.

An ex boss of mine had a saying - If you do someone a favour, make sure that they know. I would say, if you can't do someone a favour or help them, then ffs shut up and don't waste their, and everyone else's, time.

I'm sure that most of us know the main offenders. I just wonder if they recognise themselves

I have to say its one of the reasons I rarely comment on these sort of questions. Unless I know - like Deke's question about Cleveland shafts - I'll keep quiet.
I'm not very technical with regard to the swing or what happens when you swing from the inside etc etc so my comments wouldn't be worth reading anyway.

I reckon I get out a heck of a lot more than some of those I'm moaning about who seem to spend most of their non-working/playing hours on this forum.

I'm not having a whinge about peoples rights to post what they like on an open discussion forum, I'm having a whinge about them abusing that right by posting rubbish, I assume to boost their post count and see their name published several times a day.

I recently commented on two swings in the advice section of the forum. Both times I asked the reader to take my advice with a pinch of salt.

Anybody can look at a swing and have an opinion, which I did. I wanted to let the OP know my thoughts on his swing, whilst being prepared to stand corrected on it

I don't think it's really that a big a deal, I mean I posted the other day saying I had a cold. I don't particularly post tonnes and tonnes, but I enjoy the banter more than anything. x

It's up to them if they want to make pointless posts but, if they do, then they must be prepared to take the occasional adverse comment without crying foul.

Go on, name and shame. It’s the off season, we’re all grumpy at this time so lets have a good old tear up, we’ve not had one for......what.....a day or so. Pick out any two names and have a blast. This counts as another post, a proper post, a constructive post eh.
