Why did you leave the course?

was watching a amateur international match Vs France at our club we were spectating i was sat on the back of an old 3 wheel buggy as my mate was in the front with the guy driving

(similar to this)
in a well you laid the clubs down in when with my legs hanging over the back,it was driven by one of our clubs most senior members (and i dont just mean in age)

behind the 8th green watching them tee off on the 9th
it a slope and he took his foot of the brake and we started rolling backwards towards the log fencing

(like that)
i just managed to lift my left leg out in time but just couldnt get my right leg up in time and got the heel of my shoe caught under the crosspiece we then carried on rolling back the fence finaly gave way but not before my ankle leg & foot took the full weight of the buggy pushing against it and it was electric with heavy batteries
group playing we were watching got stopped as
i got rushed off the course into the clubhouse & off to hospital with ankle ligaments and chipped bone in my ankle.... i even seriously asked at the hospital if i could get spikes put in the bottom of my cast so i could at least carry on practicing my putting on the green rather than the rubber heel blocks that might damage the green

poor old chap who was driving was pretty upset, was my own fault for being sat on the back on it really,he sent me a bowl of fruit and an appology (which was very nice of him)

was back at my club the next week on the putting green practicing :)

still was a fantastic day especially watching a Golfer representing our team(i wont name him) on the first tee nervously hit it on the outside of the heel

like a reverse shank (yes that is my old driver)

it went 25 yards forwards along the ground but 45 degrees left into the trees
