What with tiger having a well earned break from all of his hobbies and pass-times who is going to come through as the best while he is not there???
For me i think Rory will have a great 2010 and him moving to the US tour now may prove to be the best move he has ever made as with the great man out indefinately it could give him the break he needs to push for the No1 spot.

i think mickelson will be in the spotlight a lot more now that tigers out of the picture.
Mickleson will be the media favourite (in the US at least) but worldwide I think Westwood is consistant and McIlroy could be the new darling of the PGA tour

There's no gap to fill. Everyboby just moves up one place until Tigggy comes back then they will have to move back one place as I can't see many overtaking him in the near future.

If Big Phil wants to get to number 1 he's not going to get another chance. If he gets a few early season wins in then he could be challenging for top spot by the Majors.

I'll throw a name into the ring for contention in this years majors. Sean O'Hair. Great player, only 27, head screwed on, already a 3 time winner.
I think hes Americas brightest prospect at the moment, ahead of Kim and the likes. Although thats just my opinion.

He's a good shout and I think next year will show if he really is capable of stepping up to the next level. I don't think he'll get to the number 1 spot but could easily be a top 5 player. He does seem to have taken over from Kim as the one to watch.

I really really think Westwood is going to have an amazing season and my well win a major. I'm going to put £10 on him doing so at a bookies before the next golf season kicks off.
