Too many chip and runs needed for Westwood to figure - he has a better chance in US majors.

Poulter will likely go well but won't win. Him or McIlroy will be leading European.

Looking at weather forecast for Open it's due to be average temps (no duel in the sun mark II then!) - 18c or so, low pressure dominating moving slowly eastwards so frequent showers off the sea but not that much wind.

The fact it's not going to be overly windy with showers keeping the greens slower, anybody could win, won't need to be a links specialist.

Tiger is due another major and seems to be carrying some form too so will no doubt be in the shake up.

I expect some Yank we've barely heard of will win. Sean O Hair is due to win big soon I think. :D

Being the big spender I am I have waged a massive £5 e/w on both McIlroy and Poulter. £20 is enough to probably waste.

Surely one of them can finish top 4 next week for a wee profit?

Harrington for me.... Just think that because he's missing cuts that people are writing him off too easy and this is when he's at his most dangerous.... add to that he grew up playing links courses and seems to play better in bad conditions..

I feelin that my local lad chris wood might recapture the form of last year and land a top 10 finish.

Only the 5 votes for Paul Casey.....odd......

Unless it blows a hoolie....Paul could easily step up and be there at the end.

Martin Kaymer might surprise. I rather enjoyed watching Gonzalo but he might find links greens even more tricky :)

I would like it to be Westwood but it feels like every major that comes along he is 'in form' but blows it. Reckon his putting is questionable under pressure.
