Who has won a 36 hole scratch comp?

Won 1 out of loads of entries/attempts. That day, just made fewer errors than the rest over the 36 holes and won by a couple of shots. Don't have the appetite (time, basically) for 36 hole comp's much these days so can't see my strike rate improving much.

I won a Club Championship in '96 - scratch 36 holes. I was a bit embarrassed though as I scored 74, 78 (par 72) which wouldn't get near the prize table in many scratch competitions. I was a 6 handicap at the time and the really low boys all had mares on the 2nd day....to my benefit!

Long time ago...won about 4 or 5.........lowest score was 145.
Highest was about 155 on a really foul day.

If we are counting 36 hole scratch matchplay finals, up mine to about 8.

Managed to win one myself around 4 years ago now. Actually went to a 6 hole playoff which is our rules for some reason and got pretty intense seeing as pretty much every member came back out and watched. Felt like a pro ha!

I'll never be good enough the win the Scratch but I did win the handicap comp run along side one year.
Despite calling a penalty on myself for marking my ball when it was 6" off the green.

In one of my wins I thought I was well in the lead with 6 holes to play. I assumed my nearest challenger had lost a ball and taken a 6 at a short par 4.
I said to myself play for simple relaxed pars which I did but somehow managed to get three birdies.

Never. Finished in the top 5 three times. Best was third place but that was six shots behind the winner.

Won a few monthly medals in the scratch category but that isn't quite in the same league.
