Which TOP Courses Do You Intend Playing in 2011?

A couple of trips up to Silloth planned and Slayley Hall (got a voucher so may as well). Anyone looking for a top course on a shoestring could do a lot worse than Silloth by the way!

My cousin who is a member at Carlisle, always says how good Silloth is, but he reckons the members are very snooty. ;)

Ballyliffin in june, rosapenna a few more times maybe portrush and RCD if I can talk my mate into it, depending on the ballot maybe the old course as well

Really looking forward to Woodhall Spa in April. Also playing Beau Desert in May.

If my car sells I might be able to get to a couple of others :)

Me and a few lads were looking to play in ireland this year but after the cost of flights and car hire got a bit out of hand, we've booked to play Turnberry in june along with troon and ayr bellisle instead.

Cant wait to play the Ailsa course and hopefully the sun will be shining with no wind in the air.

I hope i can do it justice and not play like a tool.

St Enedoc
Trevose
Oxfordshire
Liphook
Hankley Common
Brocket Hall
Broadstone
2010 Celtic Manor
Blackmoor

Just 6 weeks or so to the official beginning of the season when The Masters starts. Game on after that.

Woodhall Spa
Rosapenna
Ballyliffin
Reddish Vale
Mere
St Andrews- Eden
and maybe
Royal Liverpool and Wallesey

Its gonna be a stonking year>

Played Dundonald again great course.
Ballyliffin
Portstewart
Castlerock
Royal Portrush
Nairn with Patrick :)
Portsalon with Chris :)
Rosapenna
Dalmahoy
Royal Dornoch
Royal Aberdeen
Jubilee in The St Andrews Club Open

Not a bad year me thinks

Machrihanish in 2 weeks.
Panmure later in March.
Askernish in April.
Dalmahoy with GM Centenary in June.

After the Open last year I'm gonna give the Old Course ballot a go as well, might even head up first light and see if the starter can fit me in somewhere - anyone done this, is it worth a try?

TwentyTen
Probably Woodhall Spa, Hotchkin a few times when I'm home.

Then other top courses (that I would consider top)
Blackmoor
Beau Desert
St. Pierre

Blackmoor,Beau Desert, Cooden Beach, hopefully Hankley Common and Camberley Heath. hopefully Royal Mid Surrey and maybe Royal Dublin. Might treat myself to Turnberry if I can get something organised (that means unlikely) as we get a special rate. The Oxfordshire if we get a freebie and Queenwood if a mate sorts something out! Sundridge Park (Leftie - I can't live with the memory of losing to Smithy and James at Richmond!), Copthorne (as James always sells it so well!!)

Potential day-trips to fill some gaps on the CV - Hayling Island, Broadstone,Littlestone, Princes, Ashridge

Blackmoor, Hanbury Manor and a freebie at the Oxfordshire will probably do me for the year. Ashridge and Bearwood are still on the list though.

Hankley Common (tomorrow as it happens!)
Royal County Down
Woodhall Spa
Hindhead
The Berkshire
St Georges Hill
Sunningdale
West Hill
The Grove
Woburn Dukes
Liphook
The Buckinghamshire
Crowborough Beacon
West Sussex
The Oxfordshire
Tandridge

Of these, Woodhall and The Grove are the only ones I am playing for the first time.

And I know I am lucky. A lot of this golf is corporate.

Snelly.

Richart - I play silloth twice a year (have done for 5 years now) and have never found a stuffiness problem - infact quite the opposite. For 50 quid a day you just can't beat it!
