want to buy a decent driver and have narrowed it down to 3. PING G10, G15 & K15.

im a 26 handicapp and normally hit my drives 190 yards max and pretty straight.

is there a real differance between these drivers?

If you're pretty straight I'd go with the G15.
The K15 is an anti-slice machine and the G10, while cheaper and still good, doesn't have the forgiveness that the G15 has.
Above all get the right shaft.....

Not much difference between G10 and G15 except cost. K15 for uber-slicers, so maybe avoid that one. Make sure you get one with a shaft that suits your swing.

I vote for a decent used G10 with at least 10.5 degrees and (subject to testing) a Regular flex shaft.

+1. :)

Certainly the shaft is the key thing. That and getting the right loft.

I'd try them all, but make sure the shaft is right.

I have just swapped from a G15 draw bias to a k15 both have the same tfc 149 stiff shaft and 10.5 deg of loft The k 15 is so much straighter although I have lost maybe 15/20 yards in distance it is more than worth it!

Get yourself custom fit at a PING dealer (Pro shop, American Golf etc). When you're spending your hard earned you want to get it right first time. Don't listen to anyone who says "you're a 26 handicapper you need a ??", the proof is in the hitting.

G15 will be ideal, its high launching and flies off any part of the face if your striking is slightly off.

You wont go wrong with a G15.

If they still have a Rapture V2 buy that, best driver Ping have ever ever ever made.
