Hitting a shot when you know you're set up slightly wrong, but think you can get away with it. Never happens and so easy to prevent.

Yup I'm in the poor second shot camp, that annoys me the most. get a lovely drive away, thinking about sticking it close for a birdie chance and boom, its a fat, thin, hook, slice, shank, over club, under club or whatever! The dream of a birdie is over and now you are scrabbling for par at best..

For me it's when I play a poor shot from poor preparation and planning. If I've done all the right things beforehand and mess it up - well I gave myself the best chance and am only human. It still annoys me BUT I can move on but I get really mad at myself if I make a stupid decision and/or get careless.

That 15-25 yard pitch\chip that just makes it to fringe of the green does my nut closely followed by leaving puts short or that duffed second shot after a great tee shot

For me it's playing a stupid shot.

I accept bad shots/putts, I know I'm going to play them we all do.

But when you just played a stupid shot and you think to yourself after "what on earth was I trying to do there"

Just winds me up everytime
