Not really needing but wanting a new hybrid/fairway and seen a few decent deals online but are on a budget of £70/80 tops. Been looking at the Callaway X Hybrid for £40 from Clubhouse, the Cleveland Mashie for £70 from Snainton and think I saw a Taylormade Burner from Direct Golf or American Golf for £80. Or the R11 fairway from AG. Or if anyone is selling a decent 2nd hand hybrid/fairway then I may be interested.

Struggling to hit my driver so looking at using it both from the tee and fairway. Play off between 25 and 28 so not wanting to spend loads just yet.

Paul (PNW) has two Cleveland Mashies and raves about them (for 4 hours straight! ;))...I duffed one into the water when I tried it, but they appear to work very well for him.

£70 is a steal.

I'm surprised you didn't recommend the JPX range Az'?

I know when I tried the JPX and the CLK they were both very nice to hit, but I prefered the face angle at address of the CLK and also the stock Fubuki shaft which seems to suit my swing.

You could do a lot worse than look at the MD range of fairways and hybrids. Great clubs and they are right in your budget.

I'm surprised too. :D love my JPX.

I have a 19 degree Cobra Baffler H-Rail which is a dream (3 wood also great), and 2 Cleveland launchers as replacement 4/5 irons and they are great too. I like em and they definitely need a sweeping swing without forcing it too much and they go great.

Cheers for the help guys but had an offer from Hobbit on here that I've decided to take up and hopefully meeting up over the next couple of days.

For hybrids i carry three and i have 2 benross 17 deg and 20 deg and everything in my bag has changed over the last year or so but no way im changing these, so easy to hit and i think i got them for £40 each best buy i have ever had.
I also have an R11 16 degree and it is a bomb compared to them but they compliment each other

Direct Golf still have some of last years Adams hybrids in stock about £80. They have a good rep. I tried one a couple of times recently and really liked it. Much as I want to change my hybrids (Nike Sumo squared), I'm still hitting them really well and can't justify the change at the moment...

Adams Pro (Peanut) hybrids are awesome, look great and feel great. I have a 20 and 24 to fill the holes between my 5-iron and 3-wood. Easy to hit and if you believe the blurb they're the most used hybrids on either tour.

Went over to AG at lunch and hit a few balls with the Amp hybrid and sadly just not for me, didn't like the look or the feel. I went through quite a few and the one that came up head and shoulders above the rest was the TM Superfast, great ball flight, great carry and dispersion over 10 balls of only 15 yards, I was astounded by how good it felt.
And to top it all off, it was on offer reduced to just £80.

I bought the Ping G15 driver which is awesome, really helped me with my bad slice and got distance too which I've struggled massively with, Ping G10 and Taylormade Rescue which are both really solid, good off the tee and on the fairway and again got good distance from both. Big thanks to Hobbit for meeting me today and selling me these.
