it depends on you bag set up. what do you currently use? ive never come across a situation where i could fit in a 50. it would be too close to my pw.

got your pm btw. my mate should sent the doh today. cheers lad. ill let you know when he does! :)

I use JPX800 irons at the moment and the PW is 44*, then I have a MD Seve in 48*, then the sand wedge at 56*. I feel that the gap between the GW and SW is too large. A 50* wedge would even out the gap between the PW and SW perfectly.

Sounds good Gary, I'll let you know when I receive it :)

are you looking to drop the 48 then i take it? you are talking to the wrong man about this. i am a wedge heavy man. i would advise you to get as many in the bag as possible. but thats just me!

I got a Ping series gap wedge as I had my PW at 45 and SW at 55, so it fitted in nicely.

I chose Ping because I needed some forgiveness, and the Pings at the time had this where as other clubs did not seem so forgiving. I seem to remember reading recently that Cleveland are bringing out some new wedges soon with added forgiveness if that is in issue.

Funny you shoud start this thread.

I was looking at replacing my MP-T10 wedges with either the T4's or the R12's

The R12's are really nice, T4's are pretty good too.

I'm still undecided so I'm going to persivere with the T10's until they break.

intresting reading g-mac in this months GM saying he hits either a full 52 for spin or a soft PW from 100 yards. all the big dogs around here are pumping their 60 degree nearly 100 yards!

Which may or may not be true. The difference being the quality of strike between him, and us mere mortals.

My 60* goes about 10 yards on a full shot.

The divot goes bloomin' miles ;)

i only use it near the green when i have to get up and down quickly. im a dab hand at it these days :) i bought a 64 when i didnt have a clue but through trail and error worked out that the 60 was best for me. its been in the bag ever since although i did trial a 58 for a while but always went back to my 60!

I'm looking for a MP-T10 52 should you decide to part with them......
