When will they learn...

The Americans will never learn, they have had numerous lessons in why this is a bad idea yet still cling to the ideal that the right to bear arms is a marker of freedom.

14 this time, how many next time? Because there WILL be a next time.

This happens once every 1 or 2 years in america. It's par for the course now. Like volcanoes or earthquakes you know it's just a matter of time until the next one hits. I don't think the media coverage helps though, only puts more ideas into unbalanced people's heads. I don't see why we really need to know either, it's not as if we can do anything about it, and it only makes people more depressed and fearful. Get some positive news on!

Nothing to do with the right to bear arms.

Nutters like these will always be able to get their hands on weapons on way or another, as has been proven on these shores on occasions.

Death rate by gun per 100,000 people in America is around 10.25,ours is 0.46 or thereabouts.

I can understand (but don't agree with) legalising guns for hunting but the guy legally bought an assault rifle and a pump action shotgun.

The right to bear arms has been stretched and pushed over the years to ridiculous levels.

I await Charlton Heston bellowing about his right to bear arms.

The guns were bought legally which implies the necessary background checks were carried out. It is an ongoing issue with their fascination with the bill of rights and their fundamental belief that they have a right to carry a gun. It will happen again until they change the availability of guns and that ain't going to happen anytime soon

Guns don't kill people...people kill people!

I'd prefer to have a .40 pistol in my bedside drawer than a baseball bat. Anyone with the inclination to break into my house has forfeited all human rights as they have put my life and my families in danger.

Lets face it, if we wanted to go on a rampage...we could do. regardless of gun laws, ask Roaul Motes victims.

Go Cowboy!!
Just be sure and not blow your own foot off !!
