What's your worst score on a hole ever?

Probably this one:

Not long after getting to single figures I was paired in a medal with two 28 handicappers. Inwardly I thought right, I will show you two how to play golf. Long story short, they both made their par 4's down the 1st hole whilst I made a 10. Do not remember how I did it, but I do remember that I never lost a ball, went OOB or took any penalty shots.

Id like to, it's just finding a time when your not likely to be stuck behind a 4 ball drinking cans of special brew.
We used to play At 5:00 am on Saturday mornings then pay when we'd finished.

Its a bit like the Bethpage Black of UK munis. They should have a warning sign for beginners on the 1st tee telling them they'll need at least 20 balls to get round.

We need to go play it again. Get a few of us on it and i guarantee there will be some cracking stories afterwards

Remember shooting 93 there first time i played it, think it was only 4th or 5th time i had broken 100. Felt like i had played an absolute blinder, remember hitting driver and hybrids a lot :D

Also on top of the difficulty you need about 3 lungs to get round, imagine doing 4 rounds in a day on there?

I'd give it a go, we could even take a few cans to blend In :D (Not special brew though)

I think if the same course was private and maybe located somewhere else it would be very highly rated.

Not me personally, but a 15 handicapper was only 5 over gross after 17 holes in a medal, only to run up a 13 at the par-4 18th hole. Thanks to the nett double bogey rule, he still got a substantial handicap reduction, but no prize in the comp! :(

I think a Heaton Park meet is on the cards. Possibly as part of the NWOOM? I live about 10 minutes away and play there at least 5 times in the summer. Its always a challenge, a bit like crazy golf at times and like running a marathon at other. I've played in the week and practically had the course to myself, its only really weekends where its hammered.

Was a 12 for me on a par4 with 3 OOB. Still took my hcp down .3 that day as well.

Worst I've heard of at our place is an 18 on the 1st after being in a greenside bunker for 2.... the guy has more resolve than me. I'd be heading back home for a bacon sandwich!!
