Hawkhill Tavern,not a bad pub to be honest,prices and the beer are decent.

Conways but there is a choice of 4 boozers within a ten min walk, proper olde style with a thatched roof and open fires magic at this time of year!

A right dive that aint had a wash basin in the gents for a good 3 months but the beer is good and cheap so they have their prioritys right!

My nearest pub is the wykebeck arms, I've been in twice...full of tracksuit wearing idiots who only know one sentance, "what you looking at"?

Plough & Harrow. It use to be a proper village type pub with open fire, good food and full of good regulars. Got taken over by a muppet who wanted to make a quick buck and got laughably screwed for £000's as he hacked everyone off. He ended up ahving to do a runner over unpaid bills including the beer but trashed the kitchen and took the cooker!

New owners now who seem to be doing a good job at mending the shattered reputation. Redecorated and moving forward.

I also go to a pub called the New Leathern Bottle which is pretty much tucked away in the middle of nowhere (you have to drive or get a cab) and that is proper quaint and small but has a great friendly bunch in there and some great food

The Pendulum - its a real dive but........... our women won't go in unless its Xmas Eve, New Years eve or a special party/event so its a great blokes local. Somewhere great to go talk football golf put the world to rights etc and if you are drinking their still serving.
