Get me to 60 then it's pack up time and Spain for me this country has had it. The politicians must be taking bungs from countries all over the world, they have to be. Everyone seems to be bothered about the East Europeans no one wants to know about the massive influx of African immigrants, they are everywhere in Leeds and I do mean in their thousands, the schools are full, the doctors are full the social housing is full and no one seems to mention this. Why not, simple if you do you are a racist, Government hides behind this and not one of them dare stop it in case they lose their precious seat and cushy lifestyle.

It's how I see it , I hear it from people all the time , bloody this , bloody that , countries gone to the dogs etc
I fail to see it , you should actually be proud of the fact that people want to come here and proud of the fact we look after our less fortunate members of society well , sure some people abuse the system , they are in the minority

From what I have seen in Scotland you have not been affected as much as England by the social and demographic changes over the last decade.
I must say again that it is not just immigration (although that is an issue when the country has been trying to absorb such unprecedented numbers) it is also the way people have been changed by the social engineering of the last decade, this has encouraged a dependency culture where people dont feel responsible for their actions.
How can it be acceptable for people to make a lifetime decision to live off the state when they are not disabled. How can it be right for people to produce children they could not support if they worked. How can it be right for people to live in houses they could not afford if they worked.
Suggesting it's an 'Alf Garnett' attitude or 'Grumpy old people' is a little unfair IMO as I believe a great number of people are very concerned for the future of their Children and Grandchildren.

It's not the same. Brits in Spain generally go there in retirement to spend money. They dont take jobs, they dont receive benefits, they spend a lot of money that helps the economy.

Lot of folks seem to have got out of the wrong side of the bed today. Things change -always did, always will, get over it!, try living somewhere else and you might appreciate what a bloody great country we have.
