What's everyone up to for Hogmanay/New Year then?

Usual for us - quiet night in with a pizza and perhaps half a glass of wine for me (lightweight)!! Will make it just about til midnight and watch the fireworks from the window and probably sound asleep by 12.15...

If you ask me 'What's new?', I have nothing to say
Except that the garden is growing.
I had a slight cold but it's better today.
I'm content with the way things are going.

I can relate to that - too many years, too many same old boring parties, too many hangovers

- now I just can't be bothered with that

Hangover 2 hasn't kicked in yet.....1st pint of the New Year in half an hour so think I may avoid it.

Out with the in-laws for Dinner tonight then Scoops oclock at ours
Then Start all over again Tommorow, Hid doing muckle Christmas Dinner again.

All was going well, meal, champers etc...... Then the in-laws get home last night to find they'd been Robbed!
House been ransacked, every drawer & cupboard been pulled out. Doesn't look like the scumbags got anything, they've only been after cash - the van keys, jewlery etc all untouched and Mil had the cash with her. Get this though, can of Dr Pepper had been left!!!! Not the brightest theives!! The old bill got DNA off the can & footprints on the window sill.
