We've got various friends and their respective kids coming over at around 4pm this afternoon (total of 10 adults and 8 kids under six years of age!!) and it's just a case of a few beers and snacks until the kids look like they're going to fall asleep, whenever that may be!

Happy New Year to all my cyber golf mates when it comes! :whoo:

Quiet one for us, may be in bed before the bells, how sad is that lol.but the family are over for dinner tomorrow so looking forward to that.

quiet one for us,we may head over to the bridge for the fireworks display which is 200 yrds away.i'd much prefer to watch it from the door though as i can't be ersed walking over as it will be a cold one as usual, and wet.

Just me, the missus and the kids... Nice meal from one of the cookbooks I got for Christmas, some real ales, followed by several single malts and then bed at 00:01 probably... Bit boring really, but im looking forward to it.. It will be even better if the Tics can stuff the Stokies this aft....

Oh, and Happy New Year everyone.. Hope the golf improves throughout 2012....

new year new schmear:p

massive build up and its over in 2 minutes (no comparison jokes please:smirk:)

Plus it's on far too late at night

Here's to a fantastic 2012 to everyone at GM towers and GM forum

Used to love going out new years eve down the town on the lash but really can't be arsed with it this year so for the first time in about 15 years I'm staying in..... Kind of.

Off to the pub in a bit for a few but I'll be home by about 8 I reckon and probably asleep before 12 cause I'm knackerd

Quite surprised nobody (yet) has said they are going to the golf club??? That's exactly where I'll be with many many friends, food, entertainment and a reasonably priced bar.

Wherever you are (or end up!!) a happy new year to all.

Few friends coming to ours for drinks, nothing massive but should be a laugh.

Amazing how many people aren't going out
Most people are sick of being ripped off and can have a better night of it by treating themselves to some nice food and their favourite drink, and for a fraction of the cost

I'm having a quiet night in with the missus and little'n in front of a dvd before she goes to bed and then I'll have a few. I'm planning on having a few tomorrow afternoon with the inlaws, but not too many though as I'm playing a round on Monday morning if I can get it arranged
