Who said taking driver and risking anything... it would be a hit 7 iron all the way round at most and if a 180 carry was required a 5 wood ... it would be seriously boring .. and the greens are of no interest either, they might as well put windmills on them!

You wouldn't be able to hit a 7 iron off any of the tees. At least 200 yard carry to even reach the start of the fairways.

Well, as I play off 4, and I think the course rating is about 77, on a par 70 I’d aim to break 85. But would be immensely happy to break 100.

You would have to pay me a lot of money to put myself through that.

It would be about 5 and a half hours of torture.

I wouldn't be doing it. I appreciate I am not good enough to make any carries, would have a nightmare on the greens and quite simply wouldn't want to be there.
