What was your tour golf highlight of 2020?

It's a tie between.

Westwood winning the RtD.
DG winning the Masters and his interview after.
Tiger at the Masters following a 10 with 5 birdies in 6 holes.

Or just there actually been some golf to watch on the telly.

Seeing the Masters without any crowds or stands so I could truly appreciate the layout of the course. Players hitting ball in to parts of the course they did not know existed and one player thinking he could hit it anywhere and it did not matter realising the truth.

It has to be The Masters for me - no single moment, just all of it. For all the complaints about the coverage, especially the first round, it was so refreshing to see views of the course from previously unseen angles, and without galleries fifteen or twenty people deep. I thought the course looked fabulous, and it was just such a relief to be able to watch it after such an awful year.
I have to agree.... didn't miss the crowds.

I know it's co-sanctioned but the Alfred Dunhill at Leopard Creek and all the shots of the wildlife and Tony Johnstones commentary on it all. That and Masters uncloaked. I'll also go for Aaron Rai winning

You'll be blacklisted from Augusta with that comment; can't go round suggesting they have crowds when we all know they only have patrons!

Martin Laird’s bunker shot for eagle in the final round of the Shriners and to go on and win it was incredible, the best bunker shot I have ever seen under the circumstances.

cheers, John

I have two...

Bryson tears apart the US Open, proving that we urgently need to sort out the distance problem in golf.

Bryson plays poorly at the Masters, proving that big hitting doesn't get you anywhere.

Great point, Bryson did hit a few poor shots but I thought over 4 days he actually played really well but still didn't win, which validates your point even more... it's not just about big hitting.

5. Morikawa, bursting on to the scene and capturing a maiden major - especially the way he eagled 16 under pressure.
4. Popov, nerveless performance on the final day of the Women's Open. Amazing from a journeyman pro and Britney Spears impersonator.
3. Bryson, doing it his way.
2. DJ, just an all round imperious display of golf. A complete performance - he was unplayable.
1. Augusta without the crowds - beautiful, majestic, and hats off to the US broadcaster for the camera work to capture it all.
