what type of ball do you play?

Every ball has a different feel off the club, especially wedges and putter. If you change balls on a regular basis you'll lose feel on the greens. Common sense to find a ball you like and stick with it.

tend to agree with this. Bridegstone 330-RXS for me, although I'll happily use RX or S, and even resorted to an e6 the other week which actually surprised me, just a bit hot off the putter face as it's a little harder than the 330's.

Bridgestone B330 RX's. They are very pricey but I lucked out when in was in Las Vegas airport once.

They had a small PGA shop manned by a very sweet but clueless girl. They had a sale on for some old cheap Bridgestone balls and the sign said '3 dozen Bridgestones for $50'. I half jokingly asked if that referred to the RX330s and she said 'I guess it must do'. So I filled my boots and bought 6 dozen. I think they are a great ball for my standard (mid 20s handicap), but I'm not sure I'd pay full price for them.

Also at the same time they had a sale on old ping clothes as they has a rack of old stuff in size XXXXXL or XS. So buoyed by my success with the balls I asked if these prices referred to all Ping clothes. And she said it must do. At this stage I worked out this girl did not know the difference between an Pro V1 and a lake ball in value. So I got a jacket and polo from the new range at the time of Ping clothes for about $60 when the RRP was about $200. Best golfing shopping trip ever!

You kind of robbed her really

Well there was a financial transaction involved so technically I don't think it was robbery. I'd like to think of it as more of me quickly taking advantage of a business opportunity that was presented to me. Not my fault that they let someone with no idea about the stuff the shop is selling be in charge of selling it.....

That's what you would say , I'm only teasing anyway mate , serves em right for not explaining stuff to her

I used to always play with the Srixon Soft Feel and then moved on to the NXT Tour. I then started playing with anything in the bag from Nike, to Callaway to everything else, but I think I'm going to go back to the Soft Feels for a while and see if anything has changed as I have improved slightly...

I tend to stick with the Pro V1 or X if its windy.
Don't mind Bridgestone RXS
used to like Srixon Z stars but gone off them for some reason.

never used a Callaway, just don't feel right.

Don't like TM Penta at all if ever i find any i give them to a mate. I used to love the TP Red and Black.

Pinnacle gold

Not many guys seem to use them but I find them far better than Nike and Callaway

Srixon soft feels, did try a few diffrent ones last year but for some reason they just felt a bit wrong.

I did splash out on some Penta's but they felt heavy off the club face to me, if that makes sense!?
