i'm just up the road and the weather is brutal. I'm resigned to no golf this weekend. We actually had thunder so loud last night i thought someone had broken in.

Correct decision methinks! Just been out for a walk with the wife and we had gusts that would knock you off your feet, horizontal rain, and now it's bright sunshine! The clouds are rolling past faster than i've ever seen and it's about 20 degrees. Very strange weather, we're definitely getting a kick off the hurricane
Forecast is actually ok from 6am till noon then it's Mary poplins stuff. Gonna chance a 10am tee off and see how it goes, should be a laugh hitting a driver 120. Yds into a wind

I played it last week (only £95 after 3.00), half price from the normal £190.
Winds were only about 10-15 mph, but still struggled to finish at 15 over (I'm off ten). Still loved it, had a mare on one of an 8, and had about 3 3 putts.
The ball was still oscilating on some greens, so it will probably be a lottery when gale force winds kick in.Postpone and enjoy when more normal conditions, in my opinion.
