Just wondering what jobs people on here have had in the past and how you ended up doing your current job.

My first job was as an egg collector on a chicken farm when I was 11. I also caught chickens and turkeys for local farmers around my area and worked in a turkey factory at xmas and easter. I worked in various farms as a labourer in evenings and weekends until I went to uni.

At uni I spent time working in a pizza parlour and then onto a pub which I ended up working full time in when I finished my degree. Then I spent 2 years working with a roofing company followed by 3 years working as a sales trainer in a call centre. After this I spent 5 years as a sales rep for a agricultural company. I have then gone back to uni to complete a post grad which I am doing over 2 years now which means I am currently working as a sales rep again for my friend in his own business.

www.savemoneysaveenergy.co.uk now for the blatant plug....anyone here that owns there own business or is responsible for the electricity costs at your work then check out the web site or drop me an email at f.greenan@savemoneysaveenergy.co.uk for more information.

If your brother/mother or any other friend or family member has thier own business pass on the website to them. This will save them money. Feel free to pm for more information.

Summer job at school was filling up dry powder fire extinguishers.
Worked in the accounts department at a big franchised garage when I left school for a year and half.

Then joined the Royal Engineers for just over 9 years before leaving and joining the Fire Service which is where i'm still at. I love a man in uniform

Sales are obviously slow.....spam alert.

My 886 other posts were to suck everyone into a false sence of security that I was a legitimate member ;)

Far from it. I am only working for my mate until April when I go back to uni to finish my post grad so I am pushing out his web site everywhere I can. If the mods want to remove it they can.

There is serious savings to be made for people who are serious about their business.

First proper (non-bar) job was in the RAF, although I never got beyond basic training due to an injury.

After that, worked in a bingo hall & then ASDA before getting my break in an IT job for a local school. After that I worked as an IT trainer/PC repair bod/network engineer for a small business before deciding to go it alone, o I now run my own IT consultancy in the Scottish Highlands.

paper round at school then a couple of dead end jobs labouring for Hydro electric and forestry commision in highlands of scotland during summer.
Got in with the wrong crowd in Wine Alley,Govan, Glasgow,(Rab C Nesbitt Country) usual stuff to start with theft, housebreakings(Burglary to those from England), theft of and from motor vehicles, local gang wars etc, then got into some serious crime such as armed robbery, Gun running between Stranraer to Belfast, serious assaults(GBH),
drugs and prostitution.
Got fed up with it all and its now the quiet life with the family.

Spent a lot of time in here.
