My main aim is to enjoy the game, especially when I’m not in my best form. I know a few people who would love to be on the course and cant.

Down to 6 from 8 last year, so getting down to 5 would be a realistic target.

Try and win the seniors championship at my GC.

I've been playing as a member of a club for 3 years now (4 years in total) and through lessons and practice, am down to a 17 handicap, My goals are as follows . . .

2005 : 24
2006 : 20
2007 : 17
2008 : 14
2009 : 10

This year is going to be tough as I need a few good comps to get me down there and hopefully will sneak a win in along the way.

My other goal is to play as GM top 100 courses as possible
particularly up in Scotland and NI.

fingers crossed !!!

I'd love to get down to 1 this year currently sitting at 1.6 but the biggest task this year for me will be looking after the juniors in our club. I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Can I have my swing/game back?????? :(

Just to play one game like the old days and not feel like me and the club are still too stubborn to make up and be friends. :)

Dave

LOL, Dave! That's exactly how I feel.

I'd like to get back into single figures, but if that proves beyond me in my current health condition I'd like to be more accepting of where my game is and just enjoy the journey.

A few more single putts might help ;)

Despite what it says in GM this month I don't aspire to playing in Walker Cup ;) - I'm a realist. I do however have the goal of getting low enough to play and compete in some scratch competitions (I've given myself 20yrs). Big push this year to try reach 4 h/c and take it from there - currently 6

Only started playing serious golf about 5 months ago (before then i was a pitch and putter)

Luckily for me i have a mate who plays of 5 and just come off the swiss tour so he's coaching me, for free too.

I dont have a handicap yet but he thinks i should be off roughly 16. ( i wish) so my goals are

1. Join a Club
2. Acquire a handicap
3. Play as much as possible
4. Learn how to use a driver

Luckily am picking the game up really quick and am already scoring a few birdies and pars on the Par 3 and 4's, so i would love to be able to start playing in competitions.

Only started playing end of last summer. So in my first full year i would like to

1. Improve my chipping and pitching.
2. Be more consistent with my drive
3. Beat my step father

Most of this will be achievable with lessons

Time must be on your side as far as beating your stepfather is concerned?

I remember going round a shortish course in the south of England with only one bogey. I'd love to play 18 with no bogeys. I've holed in one 4 times but only ONCE made an eagle on a par five by hitting the green in two and holing the putt. As far as I remember I've only ever been on the green three times in my life in two at a real par 5.
