What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

Re: What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

If your wearing out gloves quickly, is it the glove or incorrect grip?

Re: What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

Premature wear is usually down to too tight a grip, so I was told by a pro one time when I was learning. I went through a glove a month (only played and practiced maybe twice a week)

i use footjoy weathersof gtx, find them very comfortable and they last for quite a while.

Its also about the only glove that fits being xxl!!

The Titleist players glove takes some beating, I've had one in the bag for about 8 months now, it gets rotated with others, but still a great glove.
Pretty pricey though, about £12.

Re: What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

the kangaroo ones can make your shots a bit 'skippy' though Region (someone had to say something, youall getting a bit slow)

I am using Nike Tech extreme at the mo after using footjoy and mizuno before. not sure they would be any good in the wet though but as a fair weather golfer and @ £12 for 3 they do me a treat

Re: What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

I use Srixon cabretta for practice and friendly rounds and SciFlex for competitions. SciFlex are thinner and my preferred glove but they wear much quicker than the Srixons. That said FootJoy just sent me a StaSof and WOW! Not christened it yet but have swooshed a club with it and liked it a lot.

I use the Wilson Staff FG Tour glove. A very nice glove and well worth a look.

I'm not too sure about price as I got them free...... :whoo:

Is there anything you don't get for free?? :-)

Due to the old hands getting a bit iffy I have taken to the Bionic glove, which is made in the U S A apparently by the same people who make gloves for their baseball (rounders here) players. They can be obtained at American Golf £15 bit pricey but very hard wearing

Re: What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

A Mizuno X-Flex All Weather if I am buying or Bionic Stable Grip if it is a present from the wife.

Re: What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

I'm about to break out a Spidr2 from FJ - it's the retail version of the ones we tested a while back for FJ.
Don't really go for leather gloves.......
Got a Weathersof coming to the end of it's life at the moment.

If your glove is wearing at the heel of your palm. Get your grip sorted out.

Using these also - the fabric back makes em comfy and fit perfect and in the Summer (remeber that anyone?) they breathe very well. That's a great price though I am paying way more. Where you buying from?

Re: What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

I liked the Titleist permasoft, wore well and felt good,
Tried the Mizuno Skintite and it felt good but did not wear well at all.
Overall feeling, wear, and great value for money has to be the SEVE AAA Cabretta glove.

Re: What is considered the "top golf glove" ? whats your opinion folks?

FJ Pure Touch, Titleist players, and surprisingly the Wilson FG Tour are way ahead in softness opf leather, and hence quality. Though that said the Wilson does stretch noticeably.
