No not true, if I like a post its because I like the content not necessarily who posted itI'll disagree with that.
It's all to do with who the comment is against and nothing to do with the contents of the post.

I don’t mind admitting I do like a few posts from certain Forummers. Is that coz they have similar thoughts to me?No not true, if I like a post its because I like the content not necessarily who posted it

I’m sayin nuffin, you’ll learnShould that be accompanied by a winking emoji to indicate sarcasm? If not, I totally disagree with your disagreement.
As adults, I’m sure the majority “like” a comment for the content, not because of the poster, and certainly not because of the forum member who is the subject of any direct comment.
Nope...no emoji. See it regularly on here. People like Liverpoolphil make a comment and somebody responds then all the usual suspects like the post because someone is having a go at LP. That to me is trolling.Should that be accompanied by a winking emoji to indicate sarcasm? If not, I totally disagree with your disagreement.

There areThere is different opinions of what a troll is. So people respond differently. I get that. What I don’t get is people don’t discuss the comment. They discuss the Forummers. They discuss the speling. They discuss the grammar, etc and for me at that point I switch off as the topic is now secondary.

Ok mobbing it is then but the intention is still the same.Liking posts as part of a pile on isn’t trolling. The legal term is mobbing. It means ganging up on. Trolling is to post comments to antagonise, wind up etc. Hitting the “like” button isn’t posting a comment.

I guess you can't but you can read people and their intentions on here pretty easily a lot of the time. With some, yes, the intention is the same. But how do you prove it?
I’ve been wanting to do that for yearsI wondered who would bite. Welcome back to the dark side Fragger

It’s not as bad as it once was. There was a bit of a clique a while ago who didn’t like their opinions challenged.Nope...no emoji. See it regularly on here. If I was trolling you I would point out that there are two R's in stirringYou disagreement with my previous holds no standing which is proven. I liked this post not because of stiring the pot, but because the content was factual and accurate.
Absolute nonsense. If I like a post that disagrees with L.Phil (since you used him as your example) it's because I also thought he was talking cobblers but somebody beat me to it and said what I would have said! Nothing to do with who it is. I will like a post by anybody if I happen to agree with it.Nope...no emoji. See it regularly on here.
