What do they know?

my finacee toke up golf as me and her brother play and most of her shots are better then ours. she cant putt tho worried when she learns to. (don't want her to learn to putt so wont buy anything to aid her :D )
 
I tried to get The Boy to do it properly but he kept getting annoyed, wanting to do it his way. So in the end I just thought I'd let him do what he wants at the moment and refine it if and when he wants to play properly.
 
I let the Mrs have a go on the range before and despite her enjoyment factor she accepts she wont be any good and just let's me hit it now. Bless!
 
I taught HID the basics and she's going to get lessons at the club she works at. I don't think she'll play as she has learned before and gets bored after a few holes but I think she'll hit a few balls or play a par 3 course.
 
I took my 2 to a range on holiday and tried to get them hitting balls.

One wanted to learn but I struggled to explain what I meant, which is unusual because I'm normally ok at explaining things.

The other one just said "Forget it. Just give me the big club."
 
Take my 7 year old girl to the range and to the par 3 course at my club. I've only given her a few pointers and she has a lovely swing so I just leave her to get on with it.
 
My 7 year old plays. The only thing i will give her pointers on is putting because she still tries to swing at it like hitting a driver. The rest i leave to the pro because i dont want to confuse her. As for HID she will hit a few down the range now and again but she just moans if i try to teach her and if she is happy enough hitting air shots then that works for me.
 
I am trying to get my mum to play...

If my brother wants a go I'll help him... He just says: No you're to good. I don't want to be told by my younger brother... Golf's your thing.

Playing off my handicap i dont think that im in a position to teach anyone.......All i can do is if there struggling with some part of there game is tell them how i fixed it with mine and hope it works.....I have a younger brother and a cousin that im trying to get through too but i might as well be talking to a brick wall....So iv kept quite and let them make there own mistakes.....

I also take my 2.5 yr old some and my 7 yr old daughter to the practice ground and putting green with me and at the moment its going down a bomb with them.....
Iv played football all my life but since i took up golf my son hasn't the slightest bit of interest in football....Its all golf with him......wheyhey :D :D :D
 
If my wife hit a golf ball like she hits a tennis ball, Michelle Wie had better watch out. Luckily for me, she tried it once, and showed little interest. She would also cheat like heck. She just would.

Smiffy, how does she get them out of the bag?

My 6 year old daughter has an interest and always asks if she can go round the 'big course' but I think to keep her interested it needs to be the short game for now.
