What do people have against PING?

Im a ping fan, however when I tried the G15 irons I couldnt help but think they looked clumpy. The results were good but I also got the same results from better looking clubs.

You have to like what you're looking at!

I'm prepared to believe Ping make good(ish) clubs - just can't understand why they leave the casting flash on them :p

Because they are made of some alloy that is so flipping hard it is impossible to remove.

The new forged Ping irons are a trifle,... how can I put this....delicate :D

It was only a small stone :D

Quick go back to where that broke because the only substance known to man thats harder than a ping iron is diamond, and it must have been some size to do that.

I find Ping stuff a bit odd. Not the recent woods but certainly the irons. I like the brand I guess, and would love to get into their stuff but it never seems to happen.
I tried the irons endlessly in the past and never took to any of them. Every time a new model came out, I'd be in the range shop asking to test a mid-iron and would take it back within 10 minutes.

Having said all this; a G15 driver is on my radar.
Then again, every driver is on my radar, in fact, I plan to start a sanctuary for drivers.
The only one that won't be found grazing in my paddock is my Callaway FT-3 which IS going sooner or later.

I had a G5 driver b.t.w. great club, wrong shaft.
